THE CAMP
It all started with a simple thought:
“What a magnificent place to train”
Olympus Krav Maga Camp is just the normal evolution of our love for Krav Maga.
The idea was born many years ago.
When one is looking from the coastline of Thessaloniki, Olympus peaks capture the eye. So, one magnificent summer day, Olympus was so glorious over the horizon, and that was when it all started. “What a perfect place to train, up and all-around Mount Olympus”, was the first thought.
It’s not just a mountain. The mythology, the legends know from ancient times, the stories told in our time, combined with the cloud covering the pics, give a mythical and mysterious feeling to the visitor.
It’s not just the mountain. The canyons, the waterfalls, the sea and the endless coastline, give a variety of options to the visitor.
It’s more than just the extraordinary natural environment. The numerus archaeological sites, the museums, the medieval locations and the modern settlements, are leafing the ongoing history of the region to the visitor.
The region of Mount Olympus is where our KRAV MAGA CAMP will take place.
The CAMP will cover both training and touring.
We will train in many locations of great natural beauty and great historical importance.
Training will cover a wide range of techniques and scenarios, combined with the natural environment.
A bus will transport us to our daily destination. There we will combine sightseen and training.
To reach some locations it will require hiking, therefore proper equipment will be necessary (hiking boots, essentials backpack etc).
There will be enough time to rest and relax daily, between activities and of course during the night.
